In the interest of making IP Home Port a bit more social I've just completed a mod to add links for Facebook and LinkedIn accounts as part of each forum member's profile. Providing this information is strictly optional ...
If the member has added account information for either of these sites it will appear under their username next to each post

along with the appropriate icon (

). If you click on these icons they will launch a new tab and take you to the member's page on Facebook or LinkedIn.To add either item to your profile, just login to IP Home Port, select My Account from the main menu, and then click on Profile.
For Facebook : Enter your complete Facebook username including the http://www.facebook.com/ prefix. You can find this on the General Account Settings page at Facebook.
For LinkedIn : Enter your complete LinkedIn account address including the http://www.linkedin.com/ prefix. You can find this on your Profile page at LinkedIn.
After entering your user information into either of these fields please be sure to click on Save to record the changes and then test the links to make sure that they are working properly.
